After Monday’s test we will begin discussing Unit II “Elements of Essay and Speech” (the test will not take up the entire period). We’ll be concentrating on speeches. By Wednesday, September 12, you should have selected a topic from the list included below. NO topic may be repeated. Indicate your choice in the comments section of this post and make sure you include your name so I know who chose which topic. Everyone should be more or less ready to present his speech by Friday, September 14th. The class will be only one hour long that day due to the parent-teacher conferences in the afternoon.
